Educating on mental health improves people’s quality of life
MenteScopia a multimedia project to disseminate information on mental illness and its prevention. A commitment to mental health education aimed at the adolescent population and that raises awareness among patients, families, and other social sectors. MenteScopia seeks to convey to society that the mentally ill exist and that early intervention by professionals can change a person’s biography.
The emergence of scientific findings from research groups around the world, among which Spain stands out, allows us to know increasingly better the biological brain mechanisms involved in neurological and psychiatric diseases. Knowing the advances in the functioning of the brain leads to the improvement of the mental health of the population and the enhancement of social welfare.
An initiative organized by PsyNal (Translational Psychiatry Group) and CIBERSAM (Biomedical Research Center in Mental Health Network) with collaboration from FECYT – Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación.
