The aim of the Protocol for Early Intervention in First Psychotic Episodes of the Mental Health Clinical Management Unit at the Virgen del Rocío Hospital is to offer the highest quality care in accordance with the latest scientific evidence available.

The key to doing so is the development of a multidisciplinary program of comprehensive and integrated care. Its application is transversal, involving all the hospital area’s healthcare sectors, which allows us to offer this vulnerable population maximum accessibility.

It is not possible to meet these high healthcare expectations without the development a rigorous clinical research study. To this end, we are generating a clinical cohort that will allow us to strengthen aspects of great relevance in daily practice, such as clinical phenotypes identification, as well as the biomarker detection and development.
